Band "Plan B" - 1981 - 1984When I returned to ARC in fall 1980 I was hoping to join a band. While in Reno I had purchased a Roland SH-3A synthesizer and practicing keyboards. Therefore it was almost unbelievable when during the first day a guy came up to the guy I had randomly sat with as lab partner and asked him "are you going to make Practice tonight? That was Kevin Gale asking Tom Roybal. I asked if I could come and watch the practice. They needed a keyboard player so I was in. Rick (drums), Marvin (bass), Kevin (guitar), Steve (vocalist)

I sang two songs by Greg Kihn: "Roadrunner" and "Beside Myself"
The next two photos are my first performance at a Halloween Party in 1980. I was terrified when it was my turn to sing - had tunnel vision.
When I returned to Sacramento in November 1981 Tom and Kevin moved into my Briartree house, allowing us to leave our equipment permanently set up in the living room.
Yamaha CP-30 - I sold it many years ago. It was heavy!
