2006 Busby Cellars Estate Petite Sirah

This was a double-gold at the 2009 California State Fair. Stephanie and I tasted several wines and this was the top.  It was amazing!

2006 Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz

This is a full-body shiraz from Australia. It is an incredible bargain at about $6 when it's included in the BevMo "nickel sale" (two for one.) It's also available at Trader Joes for about $9.

2007 Shannon Ridge Zinfandel

This is a solid Zinfandel from California's Lake County region. The price is $19 at the winery, but $6 at Trader Joes makes this a steal. I enjoyed a bottle of this for my birthday in 2009. (Owners Clay & Margarita Shannon below.)
