FRANCES ALICE FOLEY BERRY
Edwin Flower Berry

Edwin Berry grew up in the same Oak Park neighborhood as Frances. He graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Pharmacy, possibly the photo below circa 1929. He then moved to San Francisco where Frances took the river ferry from Sacramento to join him. They had a quick wedding in Reno. They lived in Reno during the 1930's as Ed was a salesman for Eli Lilley. They then returned to Oak Park where he purchased the drug store at 35th and Broadway, and ran it from about 1935 to 1965.

Ed's last name was originally Flower. But he adopted the name of his stepfather.
